Le Vieux Port - Marseille

Well 28 hours after we left home, we arrived at the Radisson SAS Hotel located in the Vieux Port of Marseille. We had picked up our Hertz rental from the airport and used our new TomTom ONE XL GPS unit (with directions from John Cleese himself) to take us smoothly to the hotel.

The Radisson is a fairly new hotel on the Vieux Port and we had two connecting rooms, albeit with a view of the courtyard. We dropped off our stuff and went out for a walk and in seach of dinner.


There was a big cow art festival in Marseille so we found lots of cows throughout the city. There was a beautiful carousel and the girls had their first ride of the trip.

Then a quick dinner of crepes, pasta and salad, and of course, Amara had her first ice cream cone - nutella and chocolate.

We returned to the hotel and collapsed - everyone slept through the night!
